Job Description

High Point Land Company is seeking a highly organized, detail-driven Transaction Coordinator to join our fast-paced, high-performing team in Waverly, Iowa. This is a full-time, in-office role designed for someone who thrives on structure, communication, and precision.

As the backbone of our real estate operations, you’ll manage the transaction process from contract to close - ensuring every “i” is dotted, every “t” is crossed, and every client feels supported from start to finish. You’ll work closely with agents, attorneys, lenders, title companies, and clients to keep every deal on track and every document in order.

If you’re the kind of person who takes pride in getting things right, staying ahead of deadlines, and creating calm in the middle of chaos, this position was made for you.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Transaction Management: Oversee all aspects of the transaction process from executed purchase agreements through closing.
  • Document Coordination: Prepare, review, and organize contracts, with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Communication: Serve as the main point of contact for clients, attorneys, lenders, title companies, and agents to ensure a seamless experience.

Timeline Management: Track all key dates, follow up on contingencies, and ensure all parties meet deadlines.

  • Quality Control: Maintain compliance with company standards and state regulations while ensuring every file is complete and audit-ready.
  • General Support: Provide clerical support handling tasks like managing calendars, answering phones, drafting documents, organizing files, and coordinating meetings to ensure efficient office operations.

Why You’ll Love Working Here

  • Supportive, Team-Focused Culture: You’ll be surrounded by people who value accuracy, communication, and teamwork just as much as you do.
  • Meaningful Work: You’ll play a key role in helping families and landowners through life-changing transactions.
  • Professional Growth: Gain in-depth knowledge of real estate processes, contracts, and compliance - all while developing leadership and communication skills.
  • Energized Environment: Work in a fast-moving, positive, and supportive office that values excellence and continuous improvement.

What We’re Looking For

  • Detail-Oriented & Organized: You love checklists, timelines, and getting things done right the first time.
  • Excellent Communicator: You can confidently interact with clients and professionals while keeping everyone on the same page.
  • Problem-Solver: You anticipate issues before they happen and approach challenges with calm, creative solutions.
  • Tech-Savvy: You’re comfortable with CRMs, e-signature tools, and digital document management.
  • Team Player: You value collaboration and enjoy helping others succeed.
  • Real Estate Knowledge: Experience with real estate transactions or an active real estate license is a plus (but not required).

What You’ll Get

  • Full-Time, In-Office Position in Waverly, Iowa
  • Base Salary of $40,000 – $50,000, depending on experience
  • Paid Time Off and Paid Training
  • Supportive Team and Leadership
  • Opportunities for Professional Development and Growth
  • Involvement in Company Events, Auctions, and Community Outreach

You’ll Thrive Here If You Have:

  • A background in real estate, lending, title, or administrative coordination

Strong organizational and communication skills

  • A genuine desire to help people through complex processes
  • A passion for details, deadlines, and delivering excellent service
